Kakanui

Hi, I know I didn’t post something for a long time, because I couldn’t transfer pictures to my laptop. But now I solved the problem, and the best thing is, I even have lots of time at the moment, because I don’t have school anymore. If you wonder why I am writing in English, my teacher made me do it. We have a international Programm for three weeks, and while the others create their new blog I am allowed to keep writing my own one. But only in English!

A few weeks before, I went on holidays with my host family. We rented a little blue holiday house in Kakanui with an awesome veranda. In the morning I had breakfast with ocean view. Later we went to the beach, relaxed in the garden and tanned.

Even through it was really cold, I went swimming in the ocean. It was freezing…

My host family thought I would be crazy, because everybody else was wearing a hoody or a winter jacket 😉

Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture, but there was a sealion sleeping on the beach. At first, donna and I thought he would be dead because it looked like and it it also smelled like. We went closer and discussed if it is actually dead because donna thought he would be breathing. But I didn’t believe her and went closer and closer. when I was only one metre apart it abruptly moved its head. omg, it didn’t really do anything but donna ad I had such a shock and started screaming.

Later when we recuperated from the shock we made long walk along the 2 miles beach of Kakanui.

I know I look like a 12 year old on this picture, but Harper looks so cute so I just had to post it!

On the next day we drove to Oamaru. We had aa look in little Victorian stores, had a trainride and went on many playgrounds.

On Monday we sadly had to go back home again, but it were awesome three days and I will never forget them…

my favourite picture of my cute little sisters and me
